| Between NetBackup's use of volume databases and media manager databases, in addition to referring to individual volumes by mediaid and ev it is not too difficult to loose a volume or, worse yet, end up with two identically named volumes. This article aims to remove any and all confusion with regard to which Volume Serial Number is used in which database for what purposes. | |
